 Dr. Lanae D. Fox

Born in Joliet, Illinois, I am the oldest of four children of Leonard and Verna Fox. Our family moved to Franklin, Wisconsin when I enrolled at Franklin High School. I graduated as salutatorian.

I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During my college years, I worked as an assistant for a local orthodontist. I also taught private flute lessons at a local music store.

I earned my D.D.S. degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1984, and received the American College of Stomatologic Surgeons Award.

I founded Gentle Family Dentistry in 1985 at our current location. I have committed my practice to using an individualized, caring and honest approach to patient care, and providing state of the art equipment for the best possible treatment.

In 2004, I incorporated 4 types of dental lasers into the office and completed the Standard Proficiency Dental Laser course.

My staff and I are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, quality care to make patients feel comfortable and secure. This approach has gained the trust and confidence of our patients locally, from several areas of the U.S. and the world for their dental care.

In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bill Hoeg and our four children, 2 boys and 2 girls, our second daughter received into our home from Russia.

I am involved in women’s ministries at church and I also enjoy sewing, reading, beading, walking and travel.

 Dr. Yvonne D. Stubbs

Born in Blacksburg, Virginia, I am the oldest of three children of Dr. and Mrs. Nabeel Demerdash. My adolescence was spent in a small town in Upstate New York only thirty miles away from the Canadian border. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree with Summa cum Laude recognition in biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. During my final year at the University of Pittsburgh, my parents relocated finally to New Berlin, WI where my family and I became patients at Gentle Family Dentistry.

Before starting at Marquette University School of Dentistry, I worked for Medical Science Laboratory in Wauwatosa as an assistant laboratory technician and traveled to Australia and New Zealand. While in dental school, I earned the Milwaukee Odontological Society Award for achieving the highest marks in the basic sciences.

After graduating in 2000 with a D.D.S. degree, I sought an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) with the U. S. Air Force (AF) at Scott AF Base where I studied under some of the best practitioners in the dental specialties. I completed my active duty as a captain serving in the Dental Corps at Seymour Johnson AF Base where the 4th Medical Group awarded me Company Grade Officer of the Year 2002.

In 2003, I enthusiastically joined the Gentle Family Dentistry team because of their commitment to integrity, service before self, and excellence in quality care and professional service. These principles are all very important to me and I strive to develop these critical imperatives and relationships with each of the patients I serve. As a result, I encourage open dialog about treatment or any other concerns people may have.

I am married to John Stubbs. We have one daughter who is the joy of our lives and we enjoy travel, hiking, reading, and cooking exotic/gourmet food.
 Dr. Maria V. Ramos

Dr. RamosI was born in the Philippines and have lived in the United States, mostly in Wisconsin, since age 7. The medical field has always been a part of my life. My father is a retired pathologist, my mother, a medical technologist, and I have numerous relatives that are doctors and nurses. In high school, I was a medical assistant at Medical Associates in the Falls, and throughout college and dental school, I worked as a phlebotomist, drawing blood at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee.

Since graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1986, most of my years have been in private practice in the Milwaukee area. It’s an exciting time to be in dentistry. We have so much more to offer patients then when I first graduated. The “drill and fill” paradigm has shifted. With all the dental procedures now available, we are able to positively impact a person’s overall health, enhance a person’s self image, and virtually eliminate the fear of dentists.

Dentistry is constantly changing and I feel it is imperative that we keep up with the technological and procedural changes to best help our patients. I’m excited to be a part of the Gentle Family Dentistry team because they are committed to professional growth, patient education, up-to-date technology and most importantly, personalized, quality patient care. Besides the satisfaction of knowing I’ve provided excellent care, my favorite thing about being a dentist is getting to know my patients. I believe that dentistry is not just about teeth, it’s about the people and their lives behind the smile.

I am married to Marcos Ramos and we have 5 children with very diverse personalities and interests. I enjoy the warmth of the summer sun, the beauty of fresh fallen snow, the sounds of laughter, the tranquility of the ocean, and spending time with family and friends.
