The economy is on everyone’s mind these days. Saving money is becoming more of an art than ever. One way people are saving money is to choose health care providers that are “in network”. After all, that’s a no-brainer, right? One looks at the list of options for providers, and calls and makes an appointment with the idea that this will end up costing less than choosing a provider that is “out of network”. Why would anyone want to choose to go “out of network”? (Is it possible that going “out of network” could cost less after all?)...........
Cosmetic dentistry is often viewed as a luxury by patients because most dental insurance companies view cosmetic treatment as elective services. As a result, patients more readily accept services that are covered by the insurance because these services are viewed as “necessary.” I would venture to guess that each of us has a different view of what is necessary to live the best life.
